Take a scuba vacation and escape the winter chill

Had enough of the cold, windy, icy, and snowy days? Now’s the perfect time to escape the winter chill and relax on a scuba diving vacation.

One of the best vacations is a trip to Cozumel, Mexico. The waters around Cozumel host an amazing selection of fish. The visibility is beautiful and you dive 80 feet down.
If you’re seeking a new and exciting dive destination, check out Rotan, Honduras. The valleys of coral and swim-through are exciting for divers of all levels.

Are you ready for an adventure? Head to the Similan Islands in Thailand. The warm, clear waters offer gentle sloping reefs and deep, jagged trenches. The diving is quite relaxed, giving you plenty of time to take in the view and observe the abundant marine life.

Give yourself a break from the many cold days ahead, and take off to a scuba diving vacation where the sun is shining and the water is full of life!

A simple exercise to reduce the fear of No-Mask-Swimming

The following exercise is a superb means of over coming the natural discomfort that’s felt by novice scuba diving students when first learning to remove their mask while underwater.
The exercise is simple and easy. Place your face in the water with out a mask and breathe through a snorkel. The point is that at some point the drill can be done without discomfort for most people. It’s less than an hour.

This simple exercise is particularly useful in helping those with mask clearing difficulties. One you master this exercise, then everything else is much easier to learn because the students’ focus can now be directed at the more complex task being taught.
